The Development Road

The “Development Road” project consists in the new Railway & Highway Systems (i.e.: a multimodal corridor of almost 1,200 km in length), aimed to connect the new Grand Faw Port upto the Turkish Border and enhance the socio-economic development of Iraq and the whole middle east. Both the new Railway & Highway corridors, together with the new Grand Faw Port (and with the cooperation of the neighboring countries), will constitute an alternative link between the Far East/Middle East Countries and Europe.
